Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach/Assistant Director of Athletic Communications
St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the position of Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach/Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach: Responsible for assisting in the management of all phases of a highly competitive NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse program which includes recruitment of qualified student-athletes; scheduling of contests; administration, organization, and evaluation of all aspects of the program; and adherence to all NCAA Division III, conference and institutional policies and procedures. Assistant Director of Athletic Communications: Responsibilities include coordinating the social media needs of the athletic department, supervising web video and highlight video production and coordinating the marketing and promotion of varsity athletic events over social media.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of NCAA and CAC rules and regulations, and ability to travel are required. Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.
