Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Swim Meet Director
St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for the part-time position of Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Swim Meet Director. Responsibilities include coordinating the end of season CAC Swim Championship Meet. Duties for the CAC Swim Meet Director position include managing entries, meet seeding and setting up and running the timing equipment. Must be able to work nights and afternoons during the weekend of the CAC Swim Championships. This is a contingent position (20 hours only) with no benefits provided.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and knowledge of FINA, NCAA and CAC rules and regulations regarding swim meet. Experience running swim meets, including familiarity with Meet Manager software and Daktronics timing system. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
