St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the position of Software Developer. The Software Developer provides research, design, programming, and testing of computer software; maintains the associated development and production infrastructure; and develops interfaces between disparate software systems and databases. The Software Developer will design data retrieval, reporting and management systems to meet user needs; conducts feasibility studies, evaluates costs, analyzes user needs, designs in-house data processing systems or subsystems, programs the systems or subsystems, develops testing criteria, and establishes documentation to support the new systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. 4-5 years’ experience of direct programming experience; 3-5 years’ experience managing web services and developing web applications, building database objects, and creating database applications.
