Visiting Assistant Professor Position in French and Francophone Studies (3-years)
The Department of International Languages and Cultures is accepting applications for a three-year visiting assistant professor position in French and Francophone Studies beginning Fall 2017. Candidate must demonstrate ability to teach language, literature, and culture at all levels, as well as upper-level courses in French Culture and Civilization and in French literature from the 19th -21st centuries. Full-time (six courses over two semesters) with health benefits. Candidate must be interested in working in a multi-language department with a cultural studies orientation. Experience and interest in study abroad programs is highly desirable. A commitment to continued professional activities, an interest in mentoring student projects, and participation in departmental and all-college activities are expected. Candidate must hold PhD in French and/or Francophone studies at time of appointment.
