The chair oversees all HSAC activities and processes, and also serves as an advisor to many pre-health students. Contact the chair with any questions, comments, or concerns about the HSAC process or about your personal situation.

If you would like to get started in the HSAC process, download the HSAC Introductory Worksheet and send it to the chair (hsac@smcm.edu). You can also drop off a hard copy at her office if you prefer.

Once you establish a relationship with the chair, the HSAC can advise you [as needed] on the pre-health application preparation process. When the time is right, the chair will assign you to an HSAC advisor, you will compile all of your application materials, and you will choose your personal committee and undergo the mock interview.
