Success Stories: Profession Breakdown
Most students are focused on Medical or Osteopathic programs. For every 10 medical applicants we may have 2-3 Dental or Veterinary applicants.
In a typical year we may also have:
- 2-3 Nursing
- 2-3 Physician’s Assistant
- 2-3 Physical Therapy
- 2-3 Pharmacy applicants
Over the past 3 years our number of applicants has risen. In 2010 10/12 total applicants were accepted. In 2011 14/16 applicants were accepted, and for 2012 23/24 applicants were accepted.
Acceptance/Professional School Breakdown for 2012
- 1 PhD to accompany an on-going DVM degree
- 1 PhD – Cell and Molecular Biology
- 8/9 accepted from our MD/DO pool
- 1/1 accepted to Dental
- 3/3 accepted to Vet
- 3/3 accepted to Pharmacy
- 1/1 accepted to Nursing
- 2/2 accepted to Physical therapy
- 3/3 accepted to post-bacs
