Yu Min (Claire) Chen, Assistant Professor of Chinese and Asian Studies (2013). B.A., M.A., Fu Jen Catholic University (Taiwan); Ph.D. Indiana University, Bloomington. Her BA and MA degrees are in literature (with a minor in translation) her PhD is in Comparative Literature (with minors in literary theory and film theory). Her primary areas of research include autobiography, east-west comparative literature, films, Chinese diaspora and Asian American Literature.  Professor Chen has recently organized a panel for the American Comparative Literature Association and has served as a reviewer for the Canadian Review of Comparative Literature. She is also a writer, and her creative writings have been published in World Journal(世界副刊).
