DiversityEdu is a campus-wide online training that will (in part) help in fulfilling the Strategic Plan’s goal for all campus members to participate in diversity related trainings. Therefore:
- Each campus member is required to complete this hour-long mandatory online training.
- Additionally, in order to promote community dialogue about how the training contents can be applied in our roles (and experiences) on campus, there will be in-person sessions. Attending one of these sessions will help the College meet its goal of having all campus employees participate in two approved IDEs professional development opportunities per year as well as preparing students to address social injustices.
Each campus member’s active involvement in these steps is instrumental in creating a strong sense of community in which all members thrive and are successful. Hence, every community member’s participation in these steps goes beyond simply meeting the mandatory training requirement and extends to each of us meaningfully contributing to an educational and work environment that embraces Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDEs).
You can access the training below. Make sure to carefully read and follow the step-by-step instructions in these links.
