Student Life
Living and Eating on Campus
Students will live in apartments located within walking distance of the Campus Center. Each apartment has double-occupancy bedroom(s), bathroom with clothes washing machine, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen has a sink, microwave, refrigerator, couch, stove, and a few cupboards. The bedrooms are furnished with a bed, desk, head table, closet, and linens are provided.
Students will prepare their own breakfasts which is easy to do in Italy because it typically consists of a brioche and coffee, but you'll also have kitchen facilities to try to make an American-style breakfast on the days you prefer this.
You'll have meal tickets to enjoy lunches and dinners at local dining establishments. Lunches are fresh daily offerings of pasta, meat, vegetables, and homemade bread at the municipal cafeteria. Dinners and weekend meals are offered among four to five restaurants that serve complete menus.
Staying Fit
The Campus Center does not have its own fitness facilities, but students find they do a lot of walking and can squeeze in runs around the neighborhood to keep fit.
Student Activities
Activities, excursions, and concerts are planned to facilitate engaging in the local and regional communities. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in conversational exchange with Alba residents. Music students will have the opportunity to perform in concerts as part of this program.
Computing Facilities
The Campus Center is provided with Internet ADSL full access, Mac Computer Stations, Color Laser Printer, Xerox Machine, TV, DVD and video-conference system. It is recommended that students and faculty bring their own laptops.
