Math Majors ‘05

Gressis, Dionissios L. - I'm going to relax in the summer, perhaps work with my Father, and consider grad. school.
Fadeley, James M. - My plans involve first getting a lot of drinking done. After that, find a job in DC to fund my creation of an army of animatronics to invade the world.
Metzbower, Anne M. - I'm trying to become a high school math teacher in either Montogmery, Howard, or Baltimore county.
Nunziata, Zara P. - I'm planning on working for NAVAIR, in the Cost Department
Sanzenbacher, Geoff T. - I will be attending Boston College to attempt to earn a PhD in Economics.
Titus, Marsha M. - I'm a Computer Programmer with J.F. Taylor Inc. Marsha will be using her computer programming skills to perform reduction/analysis of IFF flight data at Hangar 110.

CS Major’s ‘05

Braddock, Robert - I'm planning on staying with my company (Wyle Laboratories) and moving on to a new position, most likely a software engineer. We're still working out the details because they're actually creating a new position for me. I also plan on going to grad school after I get some more work under my belt. Carnegie Melon has a MS degree for comp sci majors that have 2 years of software engineering experience and that's what I'm interested in doing.
Brennan, Elizabeth A. - I'm going to be working as a Software Developer for Resource Management Concepts, Inc in Crystal City, VA.
Baker, Craig J. - My graduation plans are to spend next year in China, then go to graduate school in Computer Science.
McGuire, Martin J. - Well, I don't have a job lined up, so currently my post-graduation plans just involve moving in with a friend of mine in Bethesda and trying to hunt for a job around that area.
Nichols, Keith A. - i don't really have any plans at this point... i'm probably gunna hang out around here for the summer, and then try and find a web developing job at a small company where i don't have to be in a cubicle.

Senner, John P. - I'll serving in a community-building program for Americorps in Seattle for a year or two.

Math Majors ‘04

Carlson, Eric T. - I am planning on gettting a job in either NYC or in the DC area. In what field, I am not quite sure, probably something along the lines of finance, investments, mergers and aquisitions, etc.
Cox, Victoria M. - Travel for a year, then I don't know.
Cullen, Natalie M. - Try to get a job here on the base or for one of the contractors in Indian Head while still homeschooling Alex.
Hilmar, Jan L. - Hmmm...what am I doing after graduation...sleep? Grad school in GB or Australia (Edinburgh, possible University College of London, or Australian National University)...or Northeastern!
Hughes, Sarah E. - I'm going to be doing volunteer work with AmeriCorps, and that's about as far as I've gotten.
Ingber, Elizabeth A. - I will be getting a job, preparing for conservatory auditions, and doing whatever freelance work I can get as a pianist.
Langmead, Leigh K. - After graduation I plan to go back to school to get my teaching certificate so that I can teach secondary ed. math.
Mulholland, Jonathan R. - I will be attending University of Virginia's Physics Graduate program in pursuit of a PhD.
Richard, Katharina - As for future plans, I will be taking a 1-year internship at the NIH before going to graduate school for molecular biology.
Roinestad, Kristine A. - I will be down in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in UNC’s mathematics Ph. D program.
Story, Kathryn C. - I'm not sure what my future plans are yet.......HOPEFULLY I'll be working and attending grad school at johns hopkins university's applied physics lab.
Talbot, Rebecca M. - Student teaching for a semester and then teaching.
Whieldon, Gwyneth R. - In Cornell’s Ph.D program.
Wolf, Jessica M. - Moving to Ireland to marry my Irish fiancee. Planning to attend a Master's program in Communications System Theory in Ireland.

CS Major’s ‘04

Banks, John W. - Future plans: still cloudy, but I did just finish filling out the application for the Peace Corps.
Bell, Robert J. - I will be working for the company that I am currently working for, which is Coherent Systems International Corp.
Bryant, Jason L. - This summer I will be working at the Naval Research Lab in DC in their AI / Robotics lab. After that, I'm not entirely sure yet. I've applied to GA tech for grad school, but have not heard back yet. If I do not get accepted there, I plan on working in MD for a few years.
Coker, Kristen M. - I have no idea what I'm doing after I graduate. :)
Dumas, Matthew J. - Hopefully working here at SMCM.
Kleban, Jason D. - I have none.
Lapato, Brian R. - I am going to be getting a job first, either at EMA, Northrop Grumman, or PriceWaterhouseCoopers, then looking to go to grad school in a couple years.
Lyman, Jeremy A. - I'm working on getting a job.
Nichols, Charles J. - Unsure.

MathCS Class of 2003: Their plans

Arrildt, Kristen T. (Math & CS) Will continue working through the summer at Information Spectrum, Inc. (the company she once coop’ed with). In the fall she will be student teaching at Great Mills High School.
Baucom, Nichole F. (CS) Continue working at Maryland Bank and Trust and is sorting out job offers from companies on the base.
Butler, Bonnie N. (Math) Right now I am teaching HS at Patuxent in Calvert County. It looks like next year I will be doing the same.
Furey, Andrew E. (CS) Continue working for Intellor Group as a system administrator.
Heigl, Barbara A. (CS) Continue working as a software engineer with NavAir.
Keeling, Michael R. (CS) Staying in the area and continuing to work at ManTech (he first started there during his SMCM CS-coop program); Also will be team teaching a virtual reality 1 credit seminar at SMCM in Fall 2003.
Keene, Anthony L. (CS) Have two possible jobs working on the Naval Base as computer scientist or as PC technician.
Keller, Carlene D. (Math) Moving to California, continuing to work for Mary Kay Corporation and will probably be working as a financial officer in a bank. Graduate school perhaps in a couple years.
Kitchen, Blair D. (CS) I plan on going on to work, place of employment undecided at this point (I currently work for AMEWAS, Inc. which is the company with which I coop’ed). I also plan on continuing with my education in a graduate school, also yet to be determined
Martin, Shane L. (Math) I have a firm job offer from the US Census Bureau in Suitland, MD. I will also find out on Monday about a job on base with NELO doing cost analysis.
Milleville, Shawn C. (CS) Will be working as a research associate at an MRI lab at NIH.
Naleszkiewicz, Kris Z. (Math) Going to graduate school in Economics at University of Virginia.
Neal, William A. (Math) I have a job through the Prince George's County Resident Teacher Program. I will be teaching middle school or high school math in Prince Georges County. I have not yet been placed in a specific school. That will be determined after my five week training program this summer. This program is specifically designed for people who do not have their teaching certification. The first year of the program is sort of on-the-job training. Under the guidance of a mentor, I will be essentially a provisional teacher. At the end of the first year, I will take the Praxis II Pedagogy and with a satisfactory report from my principal, I will then be given a Maryland State Teacher's Certification. I will then owe PG County two years after that. At the end of this time I will be tenured in PG County.
Norris, Jennifer L. (CS) Will be working at NAS Pax River as a Computer Scientist for the Air Combat Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF).
Patrick, Caitlyn M. (Math) Moving to England, applying for jobs using GIS.
Pullen, Michael R. (CS) Continue working with NavAir (as part of his Navy-SMCM coop program) as a computer scientist. He’ll be working with the “4-10” group.
Quade, Spencer A. (CS) Working as a computer scientist with NavAir (RTPS group) doing telemetry.
Rajcoomar, Serioja (Math) Going to graduate school in accounting at George Washington University.
Saloom, Justin E. (Math) Continuing to seek employment as a federal agent.
Smith, Jamie M. (Math) Has absolutely no idea. . . .the possibilities are endless!
Smith, Kevin T. (Math & CS) Staying in the area and continuing to work at NavAir. Also will be team teaching a virtual reality 1 credit seminar at SMCM in Fall 2003.
Stevenson, Craig (CS) Staying in the area and continuing to work at Sabre (he first started there during his SMCM CS-coop program); Also will be applying to graduate school in CS and hopes to start fall 2004.
Wagner, Amber J. (Math) Will teach mathematics after attending a one year teaching program at John Hopkins.
Weiss, Jessica M. (Math) Going home to Silver Spring and looking for a job, maybe in actuarial mathematics.
Wenger, Joshua G. (Math) Pursue the actuarial thing, and has also looked into the process to become a CPA or CFA.
Winger, Curtis L. (CS) Continue job hunting. Maybe will get a job working for the Board of Education in Hagerstown.
