St. Mary's College sends a team to the ACM Programming Competition and the CCSC (Consortium for Computing in Small Colleges) Northeastern Conference. CCSCNE has become a well-established conference on computer science education in the Northeast and continues to grow from year to year. Students may also attend this conference to present posters. Robby Braddock, Bill Lummis and Adam Portier competed in the Programming Competition; Scott Gray presented his SMP at the Student Poster Session. The two "Brians" (Fennell and Lapato) were on the DL! Fun was had by everyone!
The St. Mary's team consisting of Blair Kitchen, Brian Lapato, Craig Stevenson placed 8th out of 31 teams at the 8th annual CCSCNE.
