Equipment

Audio Visual equipment is available for campus-sanctioned events, classroom assignments, and presentations from the Media Center. AV equipment may be checked out by any current faculty, staff member, or student with a valid College ID. All equipment is checked out for 24 hrs. At the end of each semester equipment is checked out in hourly intervals (usually three to four) to keep up with demand. Borrowers are subject to large fines for overdue equipment and for replacement costs for lost items. College AV equipment may not be used off campus or for personal use.

Event forms must arrive in the Media Center at least 7 days prior to your event. Without an event form, students are limited to checking out only camcorders and cassette recorders. More detailed guidelines for reserving equipment can be found at Equipment Specifications. The most commonly requested equipment set-ups are listed on that page. Choose the set-up best suited to your event and copy the equipment list to your EVENT FORM. If you have any questions, or are in any doubt about the equipment you will need for your event please, call the Media Center (x 4269) before filling out your event form.
