Eleanor Quirk Abbey ’34 shares her love of history and her alma mater. Eleanor has made generous donations to the Waterfront Program for the past several years, making possible not only the construction of the James P. Muldoon River Center itself in 2009, but programs where students like her grandson, John Howell ’07, learn to enjoy and excel at sailing, as well as space for academics and community members to mingle. Eleanor’s next contribution will benefit the new museum in the Anne Arundel Hall complex.
