Application Procedures and Deadlines

PLEASE NOTE: APPLICATIONS FOR FALL 2012 ARE DUE APRIL 13, 2012.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

To apply for standing as a Museum Scholar, you should submit the application form (click here) along with an application narrative, two recommendations from faculty who know you and your work, and an unofficial transcript. 

Applications may be submitted either electronically or in hard copy.  Incomplete applications will not be considered. Your signature and necessary attachments must be included.

Please Note: Your application is NOT COMPLETE until the following materials are received: 

  • 1. The application form (click here for the form);
  • 2. The 250 to 300 word narrative including a proposed budget (click here for sample budgets);
  • 3. Unofficial transcript (available off portal);
  • 4. Two letters of recommendation.

APPLICATION DEADLINE

Applications for projects beginning on or after June 1 are due April 13, 2012. 

The Museum Studies Steering Committee invites applications for the 2012-2013 academic year.  Applications are due April 13, 2012.  Applications received after that date may not be considered. 

Students are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Awards will be announced May 4.
