12) How do I get a music scholarship? At St. Mary's College of Maryland, there are only a few department-based scholarships, and these almost never go to first-year students. However, all applications are screened for potential merit- or need-based scholarship, and most students receive aid of some kind (in the class that entered in fall of 2003, 78% of students received aid).
