After a nationwide search, St. Mary’s College of Maryland has appointed Michael Bruckler as its new assistant vice president of integrated marketing and strategic communications. Bruckler will report to Carolyn Curry, vice president for institutional advancement. He joined St. Mary’s College on Monday, June 6.
Bruckler brings to St. Mary’s College more than 15 years of marketing and public relations experience. He most recently served as director of college relations and director of college marketing for Atlantic Cape Community College, with three campuses in Mays Landing, Atlantic City and Cape May County, NJ. Prior to Atlantic Cape, Bruckler served as media relations manager for the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority in Atlantic City, NJ.
Bruckler will oversee the staff of marketing, web, graphics, publications and media relations, providing communications leadership to the integrated marketing team as well as to extended units across the campus.
