On November 8, 2017, five St. Mary’s County high school students were presented with book awards at the 20th annual Phi Beta Kappa Book Award Ceremony hosted by the Zeta Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
On Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 4:45 p.m., in Auerbach Auditorium at St. Mary’s Hall, Linda Sarsour, social justice advocate and civil rights activist, will be the Margaret Brent Lecture series guest speaker. Alumna Nicole Zimmerman ’14, recently spent a week capturing and tagging Columbia spotted frogs in the remote Indian Valley in central Nevada, along with other volunteers and biologists from state and federal agencies.
