Hiram College Professor Reads at VOICES Series Sept. 23

(St. Mary’s City, MD) September 9, 2010)—Hiram College Professor of English Joyce Dyer will read from her works at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, in Daugherty-Palmer Commons, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, as part of the annual VOICES Reading Series.  Also the director of the Lindsay-Crane Center for Writing and Literature at Hiram, the award-winning author has written four books and is currently working on a project about John Brown, the controversial 19th- century abolitionist.
