Travel blogger Nick Tambakeras will read from his work at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2010, in Daugherty-Palmer Commons as part of the St. Mary's College of Maryland VOICES Reading Series. Tambakeras, with his dog Nature Boy, has been recording his U.S. travel adventures as creative non-fiction blog entries and for print publication. They can be found at www.hugging-the-road.com.  Recipient of the Frederick J. Dockstader award for outstanding fiction, he has written for diverse publications, from Pittsburgh Magazine to the Hellenic Voice, which covers Greek-American news.
