The works of George Gershwin, Miles Davis, and Henry Mancini will be featured in a concert by the St. Mary’s College of Maryland Jazz Combo at 8 p.m. Friday, April 1, in the college’s Montgomery Hall, room 25. Performing will be two vocalists, local favorite Sandy Mahoney and Mary Coy, a St. Mary’s senior and music major.
St. Mary's College of Maryland, designated the Maryland state honors college in 1992, is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. More than 2,000 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary's River in Southern Maryland.
