For the second installment of the VOICES reading series at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, up-and-coming novelist Matt Burgess will read from his works on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8:15 p.m. The reading will take place at Daugherty-Palmer Commons and is free and open to the public.
Burgess’ first novel, “Dogfight, a Love Story,” was a New York Times Editors’ Choice and a Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers pick. His second novel, “Uncle Janice,” is to be published next year by Doubleday.
