On Jan. 29, at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, join Sister Helen Prejean, author and activist, for a thought-provoking talk. Prejean has been instrumental in sparking national dialogue on the death penalty and helping to shape the Catholic Church’s newly vigorous opposition to state executions. She is the author of two critically acclaimed books, “The Death of Innocents” and “Dead Man Walking.” The talk will be held in St. Mary’s Hall, starting at 8 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
