The Gospel According to Saint Mark One-Man Show | September 23
Renowned stage actor Michael Ellis-Tolaydo will perform the one-man show, “The Gospel According to Saint Mark,” Saturday, Oct. 4, at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 5, at 2 p.m. in Auerbach Auditorium of St. Mary’s Hall at St. Mary’s College of Maryland (SMCM). Call for Open Auditions | September 23
Auditions for the St. Mary’s College of Maryland (SMCM) department of theater, film, and media studies’ second show of the year, “subUrbia,” by Eric Bogosian, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the White Room of Montgomery Hall. Auditions will also be held on Friday, Oct. 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the Bruce Davis Theater of Montgomery Hall. Auditions are open to the public. Callbacks will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5. Parris Glendening on Smart Growth | September 18
The St. Mary’s College of Maryland Center for the Study of Democracy will host former Maryland governor Parris Glendening on Friday, Sept. 26. What can deadly anthrax tell us about the mechanisms of how life works? Dr. Joseph Reiner of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will discuss this and other questions he is investigating in the next installment of the Natural Science and Mathematics Colloquium series.
