RCS School facult includes Giuseppe NovaSt. Mary's College of Maryland is now accepting applications from advanced music students to attend The River Concert Series School this June and July. The RCS School is a summer music conservatory for advanced high school, college and adult musicians. Week-long residential programs, commuter, competition-only, and daily options are available. Adams, River Concert Series School Coor-dinator, at mdadams@smcm.edu or 240.895.2113.

The RCS School is housed at St. Mary's College of Maryland in the scenic tidewater region of southern Maryland. Students enjoy the comfortable accommodations of the historic public honors college while studying under the guidance of world-class faculty and guest artists. Residential students have access to the comfortable dorms, a new gym, indoor pool, great food and waterfront location.

"We have broadened the River Concert Series to include this new school so aspiring musicians have the opportunity to work closely with world-class performers. The River Concert Series School and St. Mary's College of Maryland is a place where music students get the same high level experience offered at the finest conservatories and music schools, but with a smaller size and greater attention on the individual" said Jeffrey Silberschlag, Music Director.

This year several renowned artists will teach at the School: Jay Friedman, principal trombone of the Chicago Symphony; Andrew Balio and William Nulty, principal trumpets of the Baltimore Symphony and Zurich Opera (Switzerland) respectively; and Italian flute soloist Giuseppe Nova.
