The Honorable Benjamin L. Cardin, U.S. Representative
Congressman Cardin, a former trustee of Saint Mary’s College, is well known throughout Maryland for his exemplary character, keen intellect, and astute political leadership. He is acknowledged to be pivotal member of the House leadership, serving on the House Ways and Means Committee. Congressman Cardin has also chaired the Governor-appointed Maryland State Ethics Commission, recommending the strictest ethics laws for state legislators in the nation.
