Federal Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson has served as a judge for the U. S. District Court in the District of Columbia since 1982. He has presided over much publicized and highly controversial cases such as the recent Microsoft anti-trust suit and the perjury and drug trial of former Washington D.C. mayor Marion Barry.
