Diane Rehm, nationally syndicated talk-show host of NPR's daily "The Diane Rehm Show"

The award-winning program "The Diane Rehm Show" has been distributed by National Public Radio since 1995 to stations across the nation and the world to more than 1.4 million listeners. Ms. Rehm has also forged a successful career as a writer. In Finding My Voice, now in its fourth printing, the host talks about her childhood, marriage, broadcast career, and vocal difficulties. Together with her husband, John, she co-authored the book, "Toward Commitment: A Dialogue about Marriage."
Nitze Scholars in the NITZ 181--Leadership Tutorial in spring 2005 read her book Finding My Voice, and discussed it with her at a seminar session.
The theme of her three visits was the importance of civil dialogue: in public discouse, in private discourse, and in campus discourse.
