Brian received the 2011 Department Award in Physics.  He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Physics at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.

Research Interests

Professor Grossman and his students research atoms captured and cooled to a fraction of a degree above absolute zero, using lasers and magnetic fields. Additional research involves quantum measurement and quantum random walks.
