Goodpaster Hall: Special Projects Lab
Located next to the large computer lab (81) in the basement of Goodpaster Hall, the Special Projects Lab has the latest technology for development of multimedia instructional materials. It is a place where faculty and select students can experiment with the development of research/stimulus materials and new approaches to Web-based or campus networked delivery of content.
The lab has both Dell PCs and an iMac system, color printers, a scanner for documents and images up to 8.5"x14", a SanDisk Card Reader, miniDV/VHS Recorders, and a dual VHS unit. Software in the lab includes (but is not limited to) Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator), OmniPage Pro 15.0, iPhoto, iDVD, iMovie, and MS Office programs. By mid-semester SP08, the lab will also house a large format printer for producing research posters.
