The Psychology Department encourages all students, first-year through seniors, to participate in psychological research, where they can earn academic credit while engaging in original research. A variety of research opportunities are available in my lab beginning in the fall of 1999. Students with all levels of experience (including none) are welcome. You need not have specific skills, but must be willing to learn. Often, students new to the lab can work with more experienced students on an ongoing project. Many projects result in poster presentations on campus, such as at the St. Mary's Poster Day and some are presented at national conferences such as the Society for Neuroscience and Eastern Psychological Association meetings. Students who may be interested in executing their St. Mary's Project in the lab are encouraged to stop by and see me. |
