Research Interests
Behavioral Neuroscience: I am interested in the ways in which brain circuits
integrate diverse points of external and internal information, such as
environmental context, emotional state, future goals, and motivation to support
adaptive behavior in ever-changing circumstances. I use electrophysiological
methods in the anesthetized and behaving rat, and am particularly interested in
information integration in the nucleus accumbens.
