Director David Zylak
Director of Public Safety David Zylak comes to the College after 25 years of service to St. Mary's County with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office, the last four years of his career was serving as the elected Sheriff. After his law enforcement career, he was hired as the Director of Public Safety for St. Mary's County where he served for four years. He was selected to fill the Director's position at the SMCM Public Safety Department full time in early November, after several months as Interim Director.
