Motor Vehicle Accident

10-04-09:  Public Safety received a call reporting a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Rt. 5 and Mattapany Rd.  Upon arrival of Public Safety, they found a two-car accident with a male occupant complaining of trouble breathing.  Emergency Personnel arrived and Public Safety remained on scene to assist with traffic control.


Theft

10-05-09:  A resident of the old townhouses called Public Safety to report a theft from his townhouse.  Upon arrival of Public Safety, officers were advised that someone had taken several items from the townhouse at an unknown date.  Public Safety is investigating.  Anyone with information is asked to call Public Safety at X4911 or 240-895-4911.  Public Safety reminds all residents to lock their doors when not at home.

 

Destruction of Property

10-01-09: During the overnight hours, some unknown person or persons gained access to the basement area in Calvert Hall.  Several acts of property destruction were committed including discharging a fire extinguisher in the hallway and writting on the walls.  Public Safety is currently investigating.  Anyone with information on this is asked to call Public Safety at X4911 or 240-895-4911


Destruction of property

10-04-09: At 2:00 am, Officers on patrol in Dorchester Hall discovered damage to a third floor restroom.  Two non-students who were in the restroom at the time admitted to causing the damage.  The Damage is estimated at $100.
