Officer Chris Coons
Public Safety Officer Christopher Coons joined the Department of Public Safety in 2005. He previously served as a police officer in Pennsylvania. His current assignment is as a day shift patrol officer. His responsibilities include being the database administrator for the Records Management System (RMS) and conducting internal IT support. Officer Coons is also one of two expandable baton and handcuffing instructors, and one of two Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) Instructors on campus. Officer Coons was selected as Officer of the Year in 2009.
