Sergeant Tony Brooks
Sergeant Tony Brooks began his tour of duty with the St. Mary's College of Maryland Department of Public Safety in 1990. Prior to joining the department, Sergeant Brooks worked full time as an armed security contractor at Webster Field in St. Mary's County from 1986 to 1988, then transitioned to a security position at Historic St. Mary's City from 1988 to 1990. During his twenty plus years of service to St. Mary's College, he has contributed to many new initiatives within the office and has filled various roles, including the position of Director of Public Safety. He currently is assigned as the Day Shift Patrol Supervisor. He holds a Special Police Officer’s Commission in the State of Maryland and has the authority to make arrests on all property owned or controlled by St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
