Transcript Requests
Effective March 1, 2011, all SMCM transcripts, official and unofficial*, are ordered through Transcript Ordering, a paperless online service that allows current students and alumni to order transcripts via the Web or Portal at any time.
The College charges $5.00 per transcript and Transcript Ordering charges $2.50 per address (please see examples below). Transcript Ordering will collect all fees and accepts any major credit card and most debit cards.

Students and alumni who submit transcript requests receive real-time order updates by email and can track their orders online on the Transcript Ordering Web site. Among the benefits of the new transcript ordering service are:

- Secure transactions
- Automatic order updates via email
- Online order tracking
- Ability to order multiple transcripts
for multiple recipients in one order
Transcript Ordering is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse, a non-profit organization serving the higher education community. More information on the Clearinghouse is available at www.studentclearinghouse.org.
*UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE PORTAL AT NO CHARGE
Current students can access their unofficial transcripts at no charge in the Portal.
- Log onto the Portal,
- Go to the My Academics tab
- Click on Grades and Academic Records
- Click on Unofficial Transcript. At the bottom of the page there is a link to the Unofficial Transcript pdf.
Alumni since 1999 can access their unofficial transcripts a no charge by:
- Logging onto the Portal
- Go to the Alumni Tab
- Click on Unofficial Transcript. At the bottom of the page there is a link to the Unofficial Transcript pdf.
EXAMPLES OF FEES FOR TRANSCRIPTS ($5.00 per transcript and $2.50 per address):
Three transcripts to be sent to one address:
fee for transcripts = $15.00
ordering fee = $ 2.50
total = $17.50
Two transcripts to be sent to two different addresses:
fee for transcripts = $ 10.00
ordering fee = $ 5.00
total = $ 15.00
