Transcript Requests
Effective March 1, 2011, all SMCM transcripts, official as well as unofficial*, are ordered through National Student Clearinghouse, an online service that allows current students and alumni to order transcripts and track their orders via the Web at any time.
The College charges $5.00 per transcript and National Student Clearinghouse charges $2.25 per address (please see examples below). National Student Clearinghouse will collect all fees and accepts any major credit card and most debit cards.

Students and alumni who submit transcript requests receive real-time order updates by email and can track their orders online on the National Student Clearinghouse Web site. Among the benefits of the new transcript ordering service are:

- Automatic order updates via mobile text alerts or email
- Online order tracking
- Ability to order multiple transcripts for multiple recipients in one order

*Currrent SMCM students and alumni who graduated since 1999 may access their unofficial transcripts through the portal at no charge.
Current students can access their unofficial transcripts at no charge in the Portal.
- Log onto the Portal,
- Go to the My Academics tab
- Click on Grades and Academic Records
- Click on Unofficial Transcript. At the bottom of the page there is a link to the Unofficial Transcript pdf.
Alumni since 1999:
- Logging onto the Portal
- Go to the Alumni Tab
- Click on Unofficial Transcript. At the bottom of the page there is a link to the Unofficial Transcript pdf.
EXAMPLES OF FEES FOR TRANSCRIPTS ($5.00 per transcript and $2.25 per address):
Three transcripts to be sent to one address:
fee for transcripts = $15.00
ordering fee = $ 2.25
total = $17.25
Two transcripts to be sent to two different addresses:
fee for transcripts = $ 10.00
ordering fee = $ 4.50
total = $ 14.50
