AUGUST

August 12: RHCs return for training
August 15: RAs return for training
August 16 – 24: Full staff training

SEPTEMBER

September 3: Labor Day Holiday: NO CLASSES
September 7: Staff in-service: Opening Exercises at 3 p.m.
September 10-21: Add and/or drop a course with a $25 fee per add and/or drop         
September 14: Room change begins
September 22-Nov 2: Students may withdraw with a grade of "W" with a $25 fee until Nov. 4
September 21: Last day for students to submit course work to faculty to remove an  
                        Incomplete, to change grading option to Credit/No-credit, and to declare an 
                        Audit grading option
September 27:  Last day to withdraw, without grade penalty, from half-semester course

OCTOBER

October 3: Bulletin boards/newsletters due
October 5: Fall BASE summaries due to RHCs
October 5:  Last day for instructors to remove an Incomplete
October 8-9: Fall Reading Days: NO CLASSES (residences remain open)
October 15:  Mid-semester report deadline
October 15-19: Half-semester courses begin
October 19: Last day to register for a half-semester course beginning at mid-semester
October 19: Staff in-service:   
October 30:  All day advising: NO CLASSES
October 31-Nov 9: Registration for degree students

NOVEMBER

November 1: Last day to submit housing contract release request for Spring 2012 with no financial penalties.  Request submitted and approved from November 2 – December 1 will be assessed a fee of 10% of the semester cost of housing.  Request submitted and approved from December 2 – January 14 will be assessed a fee of 20% of the semester cost of housing. 
November 15: Last day to withdraw, without a grade penalty, from a full-semester course
November 2:  Staff in-service: Thanksgiving & Winter break closing
November 9:  Spring RA applications due
November 12 – 14: Spring RA interviews

November 15: Last day to withdraw, without a grade penalty, from a half-semester course which began at mid-semester
November 16: St. Mary's Projects due to mentor
November 20: Thanksgiving recess begins at 10:00 p.m. Residences close for Thanksgiving recess.  Health and Safety Inspections occur.
November 25: Residences reopen at 2:00 p.m.

November 26: CLASSES RESUME

DECEMBER

December 1: Last day to submit housing contract release request for Spring 2012 with 10% fee assessment.  Request submitted and approved from December 2 - January 14 will be assessed a few of 20% of the semester cost of housing
December 3: 2013-2014 RA Interest Session
December 7:  Last day of regularly scheduled classes
December 7:  St. Mary's Projects due in the registrar's office.
December 9 – 13: 23-hour quiet hours in and around the residences
December 10-13:  Final Class meetings/exams. Last class meeting scheduled during exams.
December 14: Residences close for Winter Break at noon.  Health and Safety Inspections occur.
December 17:   Grades due by noon
