Goodpaster Hall
By a vote of 1005-75, students endorsed a referendum to increase their student activity fees by $25 per year in order for the College to purchase renewable energy. The goal is to offset 100% of the College’s electrical demand with renewable energy credits.

Help the Blue and Gold turn Green

No, we are not advocating changing the school colors, we are implementing programs at St. Mary’s College that will have a global effect on ecology, and we invite you to be a part of it.

Goodpaster Hall, the first LEEDs Silver-rated state building in Maryland, is now complete. It includes innovative technologies such as waterless urinals, dual-flush toilets, high efficiency lighting, low-flow fume hoods, a grey water system, natural ventilation, and a fountain in the courtyard supplied by captured rainwater. Many of our activities during Reunion Weekend will showcase Goodpaster Hall and the adjoining courtyard.

Make plans now to join other alums June 13-15, especially those class years ending in 3s and 8s, for some magical moments as you REDUCE the time in between visits to St. Mary’s, REUSE the walking paths and waterfront, and RECYCLE the good times once again.
