In the first Point News of the school year, new students were surveyed on what their favorite part of St. Mary’s College was so far. “Beautiful campus,” said Alexander Komin. “The environment,” replied David Gittes. “The campus is so nice it brings out the best in people.” Added Nick Hughes on his Web page: “Everything is so incredibly beautiful that it is difficult for me to walk everywhere with my jaw dropped in awe.”

For this we can thank Kevin Mercer, superintendent of grounds, and his dedicated 10-person workforce.
