ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE 2012-2013 SGA
- The Bike Shop was fully and permanently funded, safeguarding student jobs and an important service to students
- The security and quality of elections and surveys were upgraded by purchasing Survey Monkey Gold
- The SGA passed a resolution calling for the implementation of the Open Housing Policy. The SGA hopes implementation will begin for the Fall 2013 semester.
- The Senate significantly overhauled the bylaws pertaining to the Finance Board, Programs Board, clubs, and committees - decreasing bureaucracy and increasing efficiency
- The SGA increased accountability of club sports regarding use of the club sports trainer by establishing a penalty for improper notification procedures that will make sure clubs pay for their errors instead of the rest of the student body
- SGA got a Twitter account @SeahawksSGA and reinvigorated our presence on Facebook
- The SGA website has been significantly overhauled to promote a better understanding of the SGA and to increase connectivity between Senators and their constituents
