  • What I would like the SGA to accomplish this year: Permanently guarantee bike shop funding, support the Open Housing Task Force's gender neutral housing policy in order to begin implementation in the Fall of 2013, ovehaul the SGA bylaws, overhaul the SGA Constitution, update the SGA website, expand the SGA's social media presence to encourage greater student participation, support diversity and sustainability initiatives
  • Why I wanted to get involved with the SGA: To better understand the ways in which the student body can affect the college and the administration and to get a hands-on understanding of what it takes to run a government.

  • What I would like the SGA to accomplish this year: Increase student participation/interest in the SGA so we can better represent the student body's views, help to implement constitutional reform, help design and build support for sustainability initiatives on campus, help craft a campus dialogue that reflects the St. Mary's way, graduate, etc.
  • Why I wanted to get involved with the SGA: We have a real voice on this campus and it deserves to be heard!

    What I would like the SGA to accomplish this year: I hope to maintain a balanced budget that will serve the needs of our students in the years to come, with particular attention to our Campus Farm and Bike Shop.

    What I Hope to Accomplish this Year: I plan to develop a strategy to encourage students to take an interest in the world of student-led politics. My ultimate goal would be to increase voter turnout to, at the very least, one third of the student body.

  • What I Hope to Accomplish this Year: I am excited to be working on the SGA executive board this year and I hope to increase student involvement and awareness in the SGA. I want students to be able to voice issues that they have on campus as well.

  • What I Hope To Accomplish: I hope to successfully help plan many diverse acts/activities for the whole campus to come together and enjoy. I am aware of the wide variety of interests our students on campus have & I want to help create events that can satisfy the interests of all.

  • What I Hope to Accomplish this Year: keep clubs active and involved by keeping current records of contact information; holding fun and productive club council meetings. Also providing students the chance to come in contact with clubs through club fair or through me. Allowing new clubs to form but with game plans: including their contribution to the campus/community, budget, what the meetings will look like. Get club leaders ready for the upcoming year(s)

  • What I would like the SGA to accomplish this year: I would like to raise awareness on campus about all of  the amazing things that SGA gets done! Before this year, I had no idea how many aspect of campus life the student government of St. Mary's actually impacts. The more students know about events and causes and changes, the more chance they will have to speak up and speak out about issues that they are passionate about!
  • Why I wanted to get involved with the SGA: As an English major/ Art minor, I am constantly interested in the interplay between image and word and wanted to try my hand at a new form of communication. As a former member of Residence Life, I wanted to chance to try a new leadership position on campus.
