Dear Campus Community:
As you know, the Board of Trustees approved A Time for Rebirth, the College’s three-year strategic plan, in May 2016. The Strategic Plan Implementation Team (a.k.a. SPIT Fire) worked over the summer to review the plan, metrics and tactics. Additionally, these committed individuals met with internal stakeholders to both 1) assess the viability and practicability of the proposed metrics and tactics and 2) identify the individuals and/or campus units that will be primarily responsible for overseeing the implementation of specific tasks (Primaries). We are now ready to implement Year 1 of Rebirth. Within the next two weeks, members of SPIT Fire will be setting meetings with Primaries.
This will be a collaborative, campus-wide process. If you are not contacted directly by SPIT Fire, don’t fret. I am certain your services and expertise will be called upon by at least one Primary.
Who are the Primaries? They are listed on the Strategic Plan webpage Download the SPIT Fire Assignment of Responsibility (PDF)
Who are the SPIT Fire members who might be reaching out to you?

Thank you for all that you do to support the College. I look forward to seeing you on campus and to a positive and productive year.
