Cost and Budget
(Subject to change due to fluctuation in exchange rates, flight costs, etc.)
Costs for the Summer 2013 trip are as follows:
$4,700 without credit
$5,480 with 4 hours of credit
This cost includes:
—tuition for 4 hours of undergraduate credit, if elected
—round-trip air fare from Baltimore-Washington to London
—hotel accommodations and breakfasts
—tickets to all required theatre performances in Stratford and at the Globe Theatre in London
—admissions to all properties during field trips
—access to the facilities of the Shakespeare Centre
—lectures by Shakespeare Centre and RST staff and actors
—ground travel while in England, including coach travel between the airport and Stratford, and travel to all required field trips
Application and a first deposit of $1,000 are due on January 18, 2013. Subsequent payments are due on February 15 ($1,000) and March 22 ($2,700), and tuition is due according to the normal schedule for summer courses (usually in late May). Checks should be made payable to SMCM and must include student ID number and "Shakespeare Studies in Britain" on the memo line.
