Dining

On-Campus:

Our Great Room in the Campus Center has an inviting atmosphere, cherry paneling, hardwood furniture, and some of the best food anywhere! Bon Appetit, our food service provider, offers an array of choices for every meal and serves fresh, local produce.

There’s also a campus Starbucks, a Quiznos, and a made-to-order grill at the Upper Deck. A grab-n-go at the Lewis Quadrangle suites offers a quick breakfast or lunch option for students on the go. A second Starbucks is scheduled to open in Goodpaster Hall in January 2008.  The Daily Grind offers Starbucks, Freshens fruit smoothies, and convenience store snacks.

Off-campus:

Consult the St. Mary's County Travel and Tourism website or try one of these local favorites that are in close proximity to St. Mary's College of Maryland:

Solomon's Island Restaurants

All are located within walking distance of each other on Solomon's Island, about 20 minutes from the college. Take Route 5 North to Willows Road, then Rt. 235 North to Rt. 4 North. Cross the Solomon's Bridge and merge right at the end of the bridge and take the next right onto Solomon's Island Road.

Keep in mind that this is not a comprehensive list of local restaurants. Check out these websites for a more detailed collection of restaurants:
