Through our tutorials, we become familiar with a wide range of writing assignments. We also have lots of experience in helping students determine exactly what a particular assignment is asking them to do. Because of this, the Writing & Speaking Center tutors are happy to read over assignment sheets and syllabi and provide feedback to instructors regarding the clarity, accessibility, and completeness of their materials.
If you’re wondering how a particular document (assignment, handout, syllabus, etc.) may be received by your students and would like some feedback, please email it to Mandy Taylor. The peer tutors will take a look, and we should be able to provide you with some feedback within a week.
