Locations and Hours
We are located in the annex across the atrium from the library.
Questions or comments? Contact Mandy Taylor at email@example.com.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You have several options:
1) use our online scheduler,
2) stop by during our walk-in hours, and we'll do our best to assist you, or
3) email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance or additional availability.
E-mailing or stopping by are the best options if you can't make any of the posted hours.
So You Want to be a Tutor...
We are always on the lookout for friendly people, in any major, with interests in writing and in helping others. Your writing doesn't have to bear the mark of genius: it is more important that you are able to think critically about writing than that you be Shakespeare himself. We provide training in conducting tutorials and workshops. Plus it looks great on your resume.
Writing Center tutors must complete a tutoring practicum course. Dr. Brian O'Sullivan is scheduled to teach this course in spring 2014.
The application is available at www.smcm.edu/writingcenter/tutorresources/application. Please print it out return it to Dr. Ben Click and Dr. Brian O'Sullivan at the Writing Center, or copy it into a Word document and send it as an attachment to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
