This year, the program will take place <strong>Saturday, July 20<\/strong> to <strong>Sunday, July 28<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>[soliloquy id=&#8221;462&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"first one-half\">\n<h4>Summer Bridge Participants receive:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Free tuition, housing, and board<\/li>\n<li>Free transportation to and from the Washington DC and Baltimore areas<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to enroll in academic courses in a variety of disciplines taught by St. Mary\u2019s College faculty<\/li>\n<li>Workshops of time management, self-advocacy and communication, study skills, technology, career preparation and more<\/li>\n<li>Academic advising by college professors and staff<\/li>\n<li>Fun social events<\/li>\n<li>Two graded academic credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"last one-half\">\n<h4>Example Courses<\/h4>\n<p>Scholars participating in Summer Bridge attend mini courses, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Climate Justice<\/li>\n<li>Brain and Behavior<\/li>\n<li>Creative Writing<\/li>\n<li>Psychological Science<\/li>\n<li>Thinking in Color<\/li>\n<li>Discovering Design<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><iframe width=100% height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4WU0Z_ssapo\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An intensive college prep workshop.
