class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM)<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Students who successfully complete the Teacher Academy of Maryland (TAM) Program of Study at a Maryland high school will receive transfer credit for EDUC-140.<\/p>\n<p>In order to be eligible to receive the transfer credit, students must have maintained a cumulative GPA of at 3.25 in the program of study with no grade of than a C in any TAM course.<\/p>\n<p>Students must have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smcm.edu\/admissions\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/06\/SMCM-TAM-Verification-Form-Letterhead.pdf\">this form<\/a> completed by their class=\"title-container\"><h3>Wor-Wic Community College<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Wor-Wic Community College students are eligible for guaranteed admission if they meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate from WWCC with an Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), or Associate of Arts in Teaching (A.A.T.);<\/li>\n<li>Are enrolled at the Wor-Wic Community College in good standing;<\/li>\n<li>Submit the SMCM Application for Admission by the Transfer Priority Admission deadline(s);<\/li>\n<li>Satisfy all other SMCM admission requirements, which are available on the College website at www.smcm.edu or by contacting an SMCM admission counselor;<\/li>\n<li>Graduate from the Wor-Wic Community College with a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2. Cumulative GPA is an average of all course grades you have taken at all of your previously<\/li>\n<li>attended colleges\/universities;<\/li>\n<li>Complete the SMCM transfer admission process, including meeting all applicable SMCM requirements and deadlines pertaining to application for admission, enrollment, orientation, and registration, and<\/li>\n<li>payment of tuition and fees;<\/li>\n<li>Abide by the policies and procedures, and any revisions thereof that apply to all SMCM students;<\/li>\n<li>Submit Wor-Wic Community College official transcripts along with transcripts from any other colleges they may have attended in addition to Wor-Wic Community College ; and<\/li>\n<li>Enroll at SMCM within 1 year of graduating from Wor-Wic Community College.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Transfer students who meet the Guaranteed Admission requirements above will be awarded a Guaranteed Admission Scholarship of at least $500.<\/p>\n<p>Students previously enrolled at SMCM are not eligible.
