The two historical ships, Ark and Dove, brought the first settlers to Maryland in 1634, where they established the little river port of St. Mary\u2019s City. The honorary society is democratic in its designation of individuals who have given \u201cdistinguished service\u201d (money is not a factor) to the College. During the ceremony of induction, the honoree receives both a written citation of appreciation as well as the College\u2019s 3-inch bronze medallion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><div id=\"panel-1168-0-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-last-child\" data-index=\"1\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><h2>2025<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Donald R.
