The faculty and staff at St. Mary's College of Maryland have a commitment to help these students in their educational pursuits, and they welcome persons of all ages to the St. Mary's classrooms.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-146-0-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Registration Dates<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Date: August 14th \u2013 August 25th<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-146-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Tuition &amp; Fees<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Tuition rate for part-time (per credit hour):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maryland and District of Columbia residents: $350.00<\/li>\n<li>Out-of-state residents: $475.00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mandatory fees (per credit hour) $50.00<\/p>\n<p>Parking Permit (per semester): $10.00<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-146-0-0-4\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Vehicle Registration<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Parking permits are required for Continuing Education students enrolled in credit or enrichment courses who plan to park on campus. The permit can be obtained from the Public Safety Office beginning the first day of classes.<\/p>\n<p>You may obtain a parking permit by logging onto the Portal, sign in username and password, go to \u201cmy finances\u201d, locate the \u201caccount management\u201d portlet, select \u201cvehicle registration.\u201d The cost for registering your vehicle is $10.00.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information, please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:tjcable@smcm.edu\">tjcable@smcm.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Parking regulations are available at the Public Safety Office. All students are strongly encouraged to read the regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Failure to register vehicles and display the required permit will result in a parking citation and a fine of $25 or more for each offense. The vehicles of persistent violators will be impounded and will not be released until all fines have been paid and the vehicles have been properly registered.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-146-0-0-5\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"5\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Payment Options<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>All tuition and fee payments are due at time of registration. Fisher Rd.<br \/>\nSt. Mary\u2019s City, MD 20686-3001<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Person<\/strong>:\u00a0Business Office, Glendening Hall, 1st floor, Cashier hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am \u2013 4:00pm.<\/p>\n<h3>Monthly Payment Plan via CASHNet<\/h3>\n<p>A monthly installment plan is available to help ease the cost of attending college. There is a $45 enrollment fee. The amount you chose is spread into 5 monthly payments due on the 5th of each month.<\/p>\n<h3>Electronic Check (E-Check) Payments via CASHNet<\/h3>\n<p>There is no fee to make an e-check payment. The payment is simply withdrawn from your checking account the following day. After selecting the e-check payment option online, you will enter your bank\u2019s 9-digit routing number and your bank account number which are found on the bottom of your checks.<\/p>\n<h3>Credit Card Payments via CASHNet<\/h3>\n<p>For a convenience fee of 2.75% of the transaction, you may pay your tuition with a credit card (the entire amount of the convenience fee goes directly to CashNet, a third-party payment processing company and does not benefit the College). MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, and American Express are accepted; however, CashNet does not accept VISA cards due to the restrictions imposed by VISA.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-146-0-0-6\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion panel-last-child\" data-index=\"6\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Refund Schedule<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>The tuition refund for credit and enrichment courses is computed from the day on which the Office of the Registrar receives the student\u2019s written request to drop the course(s). Students should submit a refund request form to the Business Office at that time. Mandatory fees are non-refundable as of the first day of classes.
